The Butcher Shop is back. Labor Day Weekend.Join Slow Theatre for another local production of The Butcher Shop, Labor Day Weekend. Due to COVID-19, Butcher Shop 2020 will be pre-recorded and debuted via Slow Theatre's Facebook and YouTube channels, September 5th and 6th at 8:00pm. There will also be a socially distanced drive-in movie screening in Chico, California on both evenings at 8:00pm, $25 per car and benefiting Slow Theatre. This year's Butcher Shop theme is “The Social Contract,” and is based on Trevor Noah's poignant monologue following the murder of George Floyd. You can view the monologue here.
